A Thanksgiving Favorite!

Method
- Bring sugar, water, orange juice, grated orange peel and ginger to a simmer in a heavy sauce pan over medium heat, stirring until sugar disolves.
- Add cranberries and cook until berries pop, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in pecans. Pour into bowl. Cool, cover and refrigerate until well chilled.
Notes
Can be prepared four days ahead. Makes about 3 cups.
